Dogs and Cats of Antigua – US is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2015 with the aim to help reduce the dire street dog overpopulation problem in Antigua. We have since expanded to helping dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cows… any living creature that is in need. We provide medical care as well as find these loving animals forever homes. In addition, we aim to educate and promote positive animal relations for people of all backgrounds and ages on the island, in hopes to eliminate animal abuse and improper animal care.

Your support is greatly welcomed in the form of membership, donations, or purchases, as well as committee volunteering, foster care and homing.

Our mission is to create a network of like-minded individuals across the island to assist animals in distress and increase the welfare and protection of dogs and cats on the island, through feeding, veterinarian assistance, spay and neutering, fostering and re-homing.

Thank You for Your Support!

Our Goals

  • To see Antigua fulfill its true potential to become an island that respects and protects all its animals, by embracing animal protection laws and prosecuting all offenders.
  • To influence a cultural mindset which will enable animals to be regarded as sentient beings rather than possessions.
  • To help as many animals as possible, particularly those in distress, abandoned, or neglected by providing them with veterinary assistance, fostering and re-homing.
